Diablo

1998 • Playstation • Date Completed: 01/20/2026

★★★★★ (5/5)

The original ARPG, the game that gave birth to an entire genre. This Playstation port of Blizzard's 1996 PC classic still holds up extremely well today. Diablo draws you in to a dark world where danger is lurking around every corner. Compared to modern ARPGs, this more deliberate pace feels refreshing. You level up relatively slowly and it makes your gear and stat upgrades feel immensely meaningful. This game is infinitely replayable, I'm sure I'll be coming back for more runs through the dungeon.

1995 • Game Boy

★★★☆☆ (3/5)

A charming puzzle-action loop with smart stage ideas and strong handheld pacing. It starts breezy but gets surprisingly strict in later levels, which can be fun if you are in the mood for precision and patience. The best moments feel clever; the roughest moments feel a little too punishing.

Street Clash 6

2025 • Nintendo Switch 2

★★★★★ (5/5)

Excellent onboarding, deep mechanics, and a roster that supports both casual experimentation and high-skill mastery. Match flow feels fast without becoming chaotic, and the game constantly rewards learning one more layer. It is one of those rare fighters that feels great in a quick session or a long grind.

Temple Raid Legends

2010 • Xbox 360

★★★★☆ (4/5)

Great co-op energy and clever encounter design keep this one fresh long after the first run. It is concise in length, but the challenge rooms and score-chasing make replaying genuinely worthwhile. The camera can occasionally fight you, though not enough to undermine how fun the combat sandbox is.
